Fiskars Cookware Starter Kit

In the 17th century, numerous iron factories were created in Finland. The vast wooded areas of the Pohja region, with its limitless possibilities for water use and extremely favourable waterways, made it an ideal hub for the Finnish metallurgical industry. The Antskog iron shop has existed since about 1630, followed by that of Billnäs in 1641. Fiskars was founded in 1649 and is today one of the oldest companies in the Western world.
